You likely won’t see this in the Academy Awards, and it won’t be nominated for an Oscar. There is no chance of Sasha Baron Cohen dumping pancake batter on Ryan Seacrest, nor seeing Angelina Jolie’s upper thigh at it’s opening. The real question is, will this movie wind up going straight to DVD, losing Disney over $250 million? Will it even make as much as the re-release of the Star Wars 3D movies? It is a shame because I would have liked to have seen one of the stars from Friday Night Lights (Taylor Kitsch) break out from a small TV series.
