This guy was huge in the 90s, and now an entirely new generation of teens is falling in love with him…

… playing a character in the blockbuster Hunger Games.

If you are a fan of Katniss, Peeta, Rue and others, you will know who this is.  Some people can remember this rock star from his days rocking “Freedom Train”, and his relationship with Bill Cosby’s TV daughter Lisa Bonet.

So my message to fans of the Hunger Games books and movies: Dig up a little info on this guy.  He won the Grammy Award for “Best Male Rock Vocal Performance” four years in a row, his mom Roxie Roker was one of the stars of the TV hit “The Jeffersons”, he co-wrote “Justify My Love” for Madonna, has written songs for Steven Tyler & Mick Jagger, worked with Jay-Z, P. Diddy, David Bowie, Stevie Wonder, John Paul Jones (that Led Zepplin), Curtis Mayfield, Mick Jagger, and well, is a bad ass.

HEY WAIT, WE’VE BEEN DOING THIS FOR OVER A YEAR AND NOW #ZYNGA PAYS $200 MILLION FOR #DRAWSOMETHING MAKER #OMGPOP!!

Zynga bought OMGPOP, the maker of Draw Something (the number one app on the iPhone app store) for $200,000,000 !!!  We’ll give you a huge discount Zynga… oh wait, OMGPOP has 14 million users on its game.

IF YOU PLAY DRAW SOMETHING, TELL YOUR FRIENDS ABOUT KLOODOO.COM!

Gamenews.com writes: “OMGPOP has introduced seven new terms from the smash hit novel series, like “Peeta”, “Haymitch”, “Gale”, “Effie”, “Tribute”, “Reaping”, and “Primrose”. This is not even close to a major update, but it’s exactly what will keep Draw Something going for, well, who knows how long. This game has tapped the limitless power of pop culture, and at almost no cost to OMGPOP.

In theory, entertainment brands could trademark the hell out of their properties, but why even bother for a single game? (Oddly enough, words like “Katniss” are absent.) Plus, to have a term from your brand in Draw Something is like advertising to 14 million people daily for absolutely free. But here’s the best part: It’s all user-generated, it has character and it’s personal.

OMGPOP CEO Dan Porter told Mashable that features like live chat and the ability to save drawings are incoming. With the latter, Draw Something even has meme generator potential, which in this day and age, is more powerful than you might think. Just ask Chuck Norris. Hey OMGPOP, we hear an Avengers movie is coming–yeah, Draw Something ain’t goin’ nowhere.”

Did you know that Draw Something is the number one app in the apple iPhone app store?  If you play Draw Something, this is a great source for ideas, clue, solutions, etc.  Check us out!

Is this yet another sign of the widening gap between the “haves” and “have-nots” (the 1% and the 99%ers)?

I am almost ashamed to put these two up, but I have to admit that people LOVE to talk about them.

Who is this reality star and her hubby-to-be?
